the final set

I was hesitant to write down about my soon to be experience*...

watching the final set of the eraserheads.

i'm not just a fan, i am in love with them. with ELY BUENDIA most specially.

if there was one band/artist i could say that i truly loved... it is definitely the ERASERHEADS.

I could no longer wait. I might cry again, but I am looking forward in seeing them perform, have fun and see them do what they do best.

I am sure that everyone who will be there, just like the first time are all fanatics. All good vibes i'm sure. Everyone singing along to every song they will perform. Sarap ng feeling na the person next to you, although you don't know each other, while singing along, you'd smile at each other kasi you both understand how you feel. How ecstatic you both are.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU FOR PERFORMING TOGETHER AGAIN AND FOR THE MUSIC YOU'RE SHARING TO US AND TO THE FUTURE GENERATION. AND ON A MORE PERSONAL NOTE THIS IS AN ADVANCE 26TH BDAY GIFT TO ME. ROCK EN ROLL!

the generation gap (my version)

Whenever i see teenagers, high school people. I always say (silently) "thank god i was not like that"

But today i just realized, they're actually great. They actually make me laugh, and if you think about it, we were one of them years ago. Yun nga lang, we had cellphones much later on.

A very young wise man once told me "our generation is better than our parents".

So i've realized, Its not that i don't like the young people. I just can't accept the fact that they're better, they have iPods, their websites and could get away with any fasyon. They're different, yes. And they're better.

So now whenever i overhear them on the escalator, or when we both get coffee at starbucks... i could now smile and say....
yah yah yah.... OMG!

final words

1. I heart Starbucks. I'm never gonna attempt on trying on other coffee shops. period.
2. When i have kids of my own, i'm gonna raise them here. When they're 18 and want to move out or go abroad. I will be fine with it.
3. I LOVE books. Might get tired of them sometimes, but i'll always go back.
4. My first love is writing, and i miss writing on a daily basis because of work and because sometimes i forget to write down my ideas/views agad.
that is why before getting myself a new camera, I'm gonna get a laptop. the small one, the one that could fit my bags.
5. I will have more ALONE time this year, I'm gonna savor each moment of it and will never feel gulity of having it.
